How to Get Past the Death Star Laser

Several games based on the "Star Wars" films re-enact the climactic third-art Death Star battle of the film "Star Wars: A New Hope." The battles in these games take place in spaceships outside the Death Star. However, the game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" includes the unique mission that puts you inside the Death Star, forcing characters to get past its giant, planet-destroying laser beam.

Instructions

  Wait for the Death Star's laser to fire. The laser fires at regular intervals, and you have to work your way up through the laser tunnel without getting hit. When you enter the tunnel you are immediately under cover from the laser. Wait for the laser to fire before proceeding.

  Move out from your cover and work your way up the tube. Watch the laser mechanism at the end of the tube the entire time. When the mechanism begins to change colors, the laser is getting ready to fire. Immediately take cover behind the metal barriers on the inside of the tube and wait for the laser to fire before proceeding.

  Repeat this process until you work your way from one end of the tube to the other.

  Use your "Force" powers to levitate any one of the objects that are hanging on the walls in the Death Star's laser tube. Use your "Force Push" power to smash the laser's lens with the object. This will allow you to safely advance to the next part of the level.
