How to Unlock MK2 on Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks for the PS2

In "Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks," you play as Kung Lao or Liu Kang on a quest to take down the toughest combatants in the land. As you progress through your journey, there are many secrets to find and unlock. One special reward that you are able to unlock is the classic game, "Mortal Kombat 2." To unlock the game, you must first find the mysterious Smoke who resides in the Living Forest. Smoke has five missions for you to complete, and he rewards you with "Mortal Kombat 2" when you finish them all.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Living Forest. Head towards the door by the river that is guarded by Clay Soldiers. Stun the enemies with your Fist of Ruin and then throw them at the door to break it. Walk into the room to get your first mission from Smoke.

  Head to the Soul Tombs. Go into the door marked with a green symbol. Toss an enemy at the wall to break it. This completes the first quest. Go back to Smoke to get the second quest.

  Go to the Wu Shi Academy. Head to the area with the forked path and walk down the left path. Leap over the gap and then use Fist of Ruin to break the statue. Keep walking down the path and cross the bridge to complete the second mission. Return to Smoke to get the third mission.

  Head to the Soul Tombs. Go into the largest building and go through the door that opens. Stand next to one of the enemies and press "R1" and "R2" together to mount him. Throw the enemy into one of the torture chamber cells. Toss two more enemies into cells to finish the mission and then return to Smoke.

  Go to the Portal area. Walk to the portal leading to the Evil Monastery. Throw an enemy into the portal. Head to the left and drop down. Throw an enemy into the second portal to finish the mission. Go back to Smoke for the final mission.

  Walk through the portal that Smoke creates for you. Kill all the enemies that attack you to finish the final mission. Return to Smoke and speak with him to unlock "Mortal Kombat 2."
