How to Mod CoD: WaW for PS3

"Call of Duty: World at War" for the PlayStation 3 allows users to modify nearly every aspect of the equipment the game's on-screen character is carrying. Players can customize both the primary and secondary weapon as well as choose to give their character other pieces of equipment like grenades or C4. These modifications are made through the "Create a Class" screen within the game's multiplayer setup.

  Insert your "Call of Duty: World at War" game disc into your PlayStation 3. The console will load the game's main menu.

  Select "Multiplayer."

  Choose "Local" if you want to play a game offline or "PlayStation Network" if you want to play a game over the Internet.

  Select "Create a Class." This is the screen that allows you to modify your "World at War" character. Select the "Primary Weapon" option and choose a gun from the list. Your character will use the selected gun in the game. Choose "Secondary Weapon" to choose a smaller gun your character will carry in game. Secondary weapons are typically things like pistols and knives.

  Select the types of equipment, like frag grenades or tabun gas, from the "Equipment" menus. You can choose two pieces of equipment. Select the perks you want your character to use from the four "Perk" slots on screen. When you have modified your equipment selections, your character will carry the selected items into battle.
