How to Increase the Chances of Death on Final Fantasy 13

"Death" is a very specific type of attack in the video game "Final Fantasy XIII." If cast successfully it can strike down an enemy much faster than if you were fighting using regular weapons. However, "Death" has an incredibly low chance of being cast successfully under normal circumstances. That said, there are a few things you can do to improve the chances of successfully casting "Death" on an enemy.

  Cast "Debuff" on an enemy during a battle. Every time you cast "Debuff" on a selected target it increases the chance of successfully using the "Death" skill. For example, if you cast "Debuff" five times the chance of death is increased five times.

  Equip a weapon that increases "Debuff." The stats of a weapon are available from the equipment-selection screen. You must equip this weapon before a battle to use it. For the purposes of successfully landing "Death," any weapon that adds a bonus to "Debuff" will work.

  Equip the "Malboro Wand" before a battle. This has a specific bonus effect that increases the chances of successfully using "Death." Even if you equip the wand and cast "Debuff" on enemies, "Death" still has a very low chance (less than 3 percent) of success.
