Move closer to your PlayStation 3 while wearing your Jabra Bluetooth headset. Bluetooth-connected devices like the headset work best when you stay within 30 feet of your PlayStation 3 video game console. Moving outside of that radius increases the likelihood of static, and moving too far will drop the connection between the two devices altogether.
Look around your room for objects that could be interfering with the Bluetooth connection between the headset and the console. Move any large metal objects away from your PlayStation 3 to give the headset a chance at a clear signal and connection. Take devices like wireless telephones and other Bluetooth headsets out of the room. If you have a Bluetooth headset connected to a cell phone in the same vicinity of your Jabra headset and PlayStation 3, the two headsets are likely interfering with one another.
Charge your Jabra Bluetooth headset's battery. As your headset's battery starts to deplete you will likely hear static and experience dropped connections between the headset and the console. Place your Jabra headset on its charging cradle and allow it three hours to charge (if the battery is completely drained). Try to use your headset on a full charge to see if that hasn't corrected your issues.
