How to Fix Netflix on Your PS3

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) system has features beyond its primary gaming function. These ancillary features include a built-in Blu-ray player, online community connect-ability and video streaming through NetFlix. With an active PlayStation Network account and Netflix account, you can access the full NetFlix library of streaming videos through your PS3 gaming system. Fixing or setting up NetFlix on your PS3 is fairly straightforward.

  Go to your NetFlix account webpage and click the "Activate PS3" option in the top menu. Click the "Order NetFlix PS3" button. This will initiate an order for you to receive the NetFlix PS3 activation disc. You should receive the disc and an activation code in about a day or two.

  Press the "Power" button on your PS3 to turn the device on.

  Insert the NetFlix PS3 activation disc into the "Disc" slot in the front of your PS3. Press the "X" button to load. The setup screen will appear asking for the activation code. Enter the activation code that you receive with the activation disc.

  Return your NetFlix account Web page. Click the "Activate Now" button under the "Activate Your PS3" option. Enter the activation code that you received with the activation disc into the "Active Now" entry box and click "OK."
