How to Use USB Air Cards to Connect to a PS3

PS3 entertainment systems do much more than play video games. You can use a PS3 to watch movies, view pictures, listen to music and connect to the Internet. If you wish to use an air card for your wireless Internet service, you can easily access your PS3 directly from the computer you wish to use the air card with. A few simple steps will allow you to stream media directly to your PS3 via your air card.

  Turn on your computer. Plug in your air card and connect to the Internet.

  Download and install the PS3 media server program. Boot the program on your computer. Select the files and folders you wish to stream into your PS3.

  Turn on your PS3. From the menu, select ̶0;Photo,̶1; ̶0;Music̶1; or ̶0;Video.̶1; Scroll to your media server. Select the file you wish to play and you will be able to stream it wirelessly onto your PS3. Your computer and air card must both be turned on for this to work.
