How to Punch on LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet is a popular side-scrolling platform video game published by Sony and released for the PlayStation 3 gaming console. The game allows up to four players to play at once, either cooperatively or against each other. LittleBigPlanet features a number of ways to express yourself and communicate with other players through specific body language and facial expressions. One of the more cruel yet funny character abilities allows you to punch or slap a fellow player's sack boy, whether out of malice or retaliation.

     Stand next to a player and hold down either the "L2" button to punch left or the "R2" button to punch right.

     Move the corresponding analog stick to the opposite position of the direction you want to punch. For instance, if you want to punch a character to the left of you, hold the left analog stick to the right.

     Shift the analog stick in the direction you want to punch using a swift movement. When done correctly, you will deal a heavy punch that knocks the opposing player to the ground.
