How to Use Your Bluetooth in Uncharted 2

Using a Bluetooth headset with your PlayStation 3 allows you to speak to people while playing games online. "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" offers online multiplayer battles where you can use a headset to create strategies with teammates. After setting up your headset, you will only need to turn on the device to use it in a game.

  Turn on the PS3 and one controller.

  Open "Settings," "Accessory Settings" and "Register Bluetooth Device."

  Select "Register Headset/Microphone/Headphones."

  Choose "Register Headset."

  Put your headset into pairing mode by pressing and holding the "Talk/End" button on the device until the LED turns on.

  Select "Start Scanning" on the PS3.

  Choose your headset from the list of devices that appears on the system and enter the pairing code, "0000," to complete the pairing.

  Return to the "Audio Device Settings" and change the "Input Device" and "Output Device" to the name of the headset. Typically the name of the headset, by default, is the brand name, plus the model name, or just the model name.
Play Online in "Uncharted 2"

  Turn on your Bluetooth headset.

  Start the game in the PS3 and select "Multiplayer."

  Select "Matchmaking" and wait to be paired with other players. Once you have some teammates, you can begin talking through your headset.
