How to Put iTunes on a PS3

PlayStation 3 is the latest gaming console made by Sony. The PlayStation 3 contains memory to store data right to your PlayStation's hard drive, allowing you to save games, music and videos. You can upload your iTunes playlists to your PlayStation 3 to listen to your own playlist of music while you play your favorite game. Music from your iTunes can be stored on your iPod and transferred to your PlayStation 3 console using an Apple USB cable.

      Plug your iPod into your computer. Connect the USB cable provided by the manufacturer to your iPod and the USB port on your computer. Open your iTunes folder by clicking on the icon.

      Select your iPod from the "Devices" tab. Click on the "Music" option and sync your iTunes music to your iPod by clicking "Sync." Remove the USB cable connecting your iPod to your computer's USB port.

      Turn on your PlayStation 3 by pressing the power button on the right side of the console. Connect your iPod to your PlayStation 3 using the USB cable.

      Select the "Music" folder on the PlayStation 3 main menu. Use the arrow buttons on the PlayStation 3 remote to scroll down the list until it lists the option for "USB Device," in this case your iPod.

      Press the triangle button on your PlayStation remote control. The USB drive should appear on the list under music. Use the arrows to scroll down and select the option for your USB drive and press the triangle button again. Choose the "Copy" option on the list and press the triangle button to begin copying your playlist to your PlayStation 3.

      Remove your iPod from your PlayStation 3 by disconnecting the USB cable from the USB port.
