How to Use Facebook on the PS3

The PS3 not only plays video games but also allows you to play Blu-ray DVDs. On top of this extra feature it also has the ability to connect to the Internet. In fact, many PS3 owners opt to do most of their Internet surfing on their PS3 consoles. And if you have a Facebook account you'll be pleased to know that you can log onto Facebook right from the console as well.

Instructions

  Turn on your PS3 console and use the controller to select "Settings" from the main menu screen.

  Click "Wi-Fi" from the list of options that appears on the main menu. You will then be prompted to choose a network.

  Scroll through the list of network options and select the one you would like to join. Use the controller to enter the passcode (if there is one) and you will be connected to the Internet.

  Click on the network browser icon on screen and a browser will open up on screen along with a keypad.

  Use the controller to type www.facebook.com in the web browser and click "Enter." You will then be directed to the homepage of Facebook.
