How to Get the Skills to 100 & Special to 10 in Fallout 3

"Fallout 3" mixes classical role-playing game elements with a combat system that resembles a regular shooting game. Throughout the game you are given the ability to add points to your character's skills. Each skill is ranked on a 1 to 100 scale. If you want to max out your skills and your special abilities, you will have to do it the old-fashioned way --- by leveling up.

Instructions

  Leave any building or town that you are currently in and walk out onto the Capital Wasteland. Enemies like mutants and mutated animals only appear when your on-screen character leaves the safety of towns and buildings. Mercenaries will also only appear while roaming the Capital Wasteland.

  Wander the Capital Wasteland and enter into battle with any enemy you see. Be alert as most mutated animals and mutants will immediately engage you in battle. Earn experience points and level up by killing every enemy you encounter.

  Add your skill points and special-kill points to the various skills your character has obtained. When you reach the next level, a new window will appear allowing you to place 20 points in any one skill and allow you to select a special skill or level up an existing special skill. Place all 20 of your points and unlock a new skill before continuing.

  Repeat this process until you max out all of your stats. For example, when one regular skill reaches "100," move onto the next skill the next time you level up. When you have unlocked all of the special skills, start leveling them up individually.
