How to Transfer PS3 Saves to PS2 Memory Cards

The PlayStation 3 game console isn't natively compatible with memory cards designed for the PS2. The PlayStation 3 doesn't actually use memory cards at all --- it saves all game data to its own dedicated hard drive. Therefore, if you want to copy a PlayStation 3 game save to a PS2 memory card, you need to use a specific adapter that makes this process possible.

Things You'll Need

  • PS2-to-USB memory card reader
