How to Connect a Canon A560 to a PS3

The Canon A560 digital camera stores digital photographs on a regular flash memory card. It also comes with a USB transfer cable that can be used to connect the device to a computer. If you own a Sony PlayStation 3, you can use the aforementioned cable to connect the Canon camera to your console and access all of the pictures on your memory card on your television set.

      Insert the SD memory card that you use when taking pictures on your Canon A560 into the camera itself. Turn on the camera. The camera will not be visible to the PlayStation 3, even if connected, if the A560 is powered off.

      Plug your Canon A560's USB cable into the USB port on the front of the PS3. Plug the other end into the port on the camera itself.

      Select "Photo" from your PlayStation 3. Select "Digital Camera" to view all of the photos contained on your digital camera.
