How to Get MSN on Your PS3

If you want to access your MSN (Microsoft Network) account via your PlayStation 3 you can do so through the console's integrated Web browser. You can log into your account and access Windows Live Messenger information the same way you would on a computer. The only difference is that instead of typing with a keyboard you will be doing so with the PlayStation 3 controller.

  Open the Internet browser on your PS3. An icon for the browser is contained in the "Network" menu on the main console screen.

  Press "Triangle." This command opens the Internet browser menu. Select "File" and "Address" from the menu.

  Type www.msn.com into the address bar. Press "Start" to load the MSN main page. If you want to log into your MSN account on your PlayStation 3 and don't want to just view the main page, continue to "Step 4."

  Use your PS3 controller's directional stick to move the cursor over the "Sign In" button in the upper-right corner of the screen. Press "X" to select it.

  Use the PS3 controller to enter your MSN user name and password. Select "Sign In" to view your main MSN account on your PlayStation 3.
