How to Get a Corpse Camo in Metal Gear Solid 4

In "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots," the Corpse Camouflage gives enemies the illusion that you are dead when you lie motionless on the ground with it equipped. Guards will approach you, inspect the body, and confirm you are dead before they leave the area. You can unlock the Corpse Camouflage by completing the game after using a specific number of continues in a single play-through. A continue is the option that appears after you die in the game that lets you retry the section.

     Die 51 times in the single-player game on any difficulty and then complete it. Save the completed game when you are prompted.

     Load a new game from your completed-game save file and play until you obtain your equipment from Metal Gear Mk. II.

     Pause the game and go to the Camouflage menu. Select the "Octocamo" option and then go to the manual camouflage menu.

   • 4

     Scroll through the camouflage patterns to "Corpse Camo" and select it. Exit the menu and resume the game. The Corpse Camo will be equipped.
