How to Set Up Netflix With a New Account on the PlayStation 3

The movie rental and streaming service Netflix acknowledges Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) as the only gaming system that gives users a total HD entertainment experience with its built in Blu-Ray player, hard drive and Wi-Fi connectivity. By downloading Netflix's application on your PS3, you can start to view your favorite movies and TV shows via your Netflix account.

PlayStation Network Account

Instructions

  Select the "PlayStation Network" icon from the home screen of your PS3 and sign in.

  Select the "What's New" option from the "PlayStation Network" section of the "XMB." Navigate to the Netflix icon and click on it to download. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation on your PS3.

  Navigate to the home screen menu of the PS3 and click on the Netflix icon to start the application. Select the "Sign Up" button at the main screen to enter your information to setup a new account.
