How Do I Set a Folding Team on My PlayStation 3 at Home?

Folding@home is a program you can install onto your Sony PlayStation 3 and its primary purpose is to understand protein folding in an effort to propel medical research further. This cost-free program can be downloaded within the PlayStation 3 main menu and you will be asked to either start or a join a team. You must set your team when installing the program before proceeding.

Instructions

      Highlight "Folding@home" under the "Network" menu. Press "X" on your controller. Wait for the client to install and ask you about a team.

      Go to the "Create a Team" page if you want to make your own. Type in your team name, your username, password and email address. Press "Enter." On the following page, you will be given a team number.

      Type in the team number where indicated on your PS3. If you were given someone else's number to join, type in the number here.
