Plug the cable at the end of the included game controller into one of the USB ports on the front of the PlayStation 3 (PS3). Press the touch-sensitive power button on the front bottom edge to turn it on. Let the main operational screen appear on the TV before continuing.
Navigate using the direction pad on the controller to the left of the screen until you come to the "Settings" icon. Press down on the direction pad until you come to the "Network Settings" icon.
Press right on the direction pad to bring up a list of choices on the screen. Select "Internet Connection" from the list of choices. Press right on the direction pad. Select "Enabled" from the list of choices presented. Press the "X" button on the controller.
Press left on the controller and scroll down to "Internet Settings." Press the "X" button. Select "Yes" on the screen that appears. Press the "X" button.
Select "Easy" on the screen that appears. Press the "X" button. Select "Scan" on the screen that appears. Press the "X" button.
Select the name of your wireless home network from the list of choices presented on a new screen. Press the "X" button. Enter the password for your network, using the on-screen keyboard, on the new screen that appears. Press the "X" button.
Press the "X" button when the settings confirmation screen appears. Press the "O" button repeatedly to return to the main menu.
