How to Connect an LG HBM-210 to PS3

The LG HBM-210 is a small, feature-filled Bluetooth headset that can be connected to the Sony PlayStation 3, PS3, to be used during voice chat applications, including friends chat and online games. Similar to other wireless PS3 peripherals, the headset must be paired to the PS3 before it becomes functional. The LG HBM-210 has an easy pairing mode that is compatible with the PS3

Instructions

  Scroll to the "Settings" tab on the PS3 main menu. Select "Accessory Settings." Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices."

  Select "Yes" when asked if you want to pair a new device. Select "Register New Device," and press the "X" button.

  Press and hold the "Multi-Function Button" on the headset for six seconds. The light on the headset turns blue when the headset enters pairing mode.

  Press the "X" button on the PS3 controller to search for new Bluetooth devices. The LG HBM-210 appears on screen. Press the "X" button on the PS3 controller. Enter "0000" as the pass key, and select "OK." The pairing is complete.
