How to Use the Turtle Beach X41 Microphone on a PS3

The Turtle Beach X41 headset is a wireless headset that can be used to play games on your video console. While the headset was originally designed to be used on the Xbox 360, it can also be used on the PlayStation 3. This is done by setting up the headset to its wireless adapter and connecting the USB to the PS3.

Instructions

      Connect the red and white game audio connections on the PS3 to the red and white connections on the X31 transmitter.

      Connect one end of the fiber option cable into the optic cable slot on the rear of your PlayStation 3, Connect the other end of the cable to the optic cable slot located at the front of the X41 transmitter at the very top.

      Plug the black end of the adapter cable into the gaming connection on your headset. This can be located by locating the jack hole that has a Xbox 360 controller image next to it.

      Connect the pink and green connections on the other end of the adapter cable into the two corresponding holes on the Amigo II USB sound card.

      Plug the Amigo II USB into the USB slot sound on the front panel of the PS3. Turn on the PS3 and load up the dashboard. Select the "Settings" option and then "Audio Device Settings."

      Change the input and output device to "Turtle Beach USB Audio." Click on the "OK" option to confirm the changes and complete the process.
