Instructions
Turn on the PS3 game system. Connect the small end of the supplied USB cable to the corresponding USB connection port, located on the top side of the game controller. Connect the remaining end of the USB cable to an available USB port on the PS3.
Allow the controller's internal battery to charge completely before disconnecting the USB cable. Disconnect the USB cable when the flashing LED on the controller turns off.
Press the center-mounted "PS" button on the controller. Pressing the "PS" button will pair the controller to the PS3. During the pairing process, all four LED indicators on the topside of the controller will flash. After the pairing process, the LED labeled "1" will turn on, which indicates the controller as being in the first player position.
Navigate through the XMB menus with the directional D-pad, located on the left side of the controller. Hit the "X" button to select a menu item. Hitting the "Triangle" button will allow you to exit a menu selection.
Hold the "PS" button during a game play session to display the exit options and controller number settings.

Using The Internet Browser
Navigate to the "Network" menu option, listed on the XMB menu. Highlight "Internet Browser" and press the "X" button.
Press the "Start" button to display the Web address input menu. Use the directional pad to highlight specific letters, numbers and symbols listed on the keyboard dialog; press the "X" button to select each character. Press the "Start" menu to load the entered Web address.
Move the right analog stick to control the cursor. Press the "X" button to click on Web page links. To return to a previous Web page, press the "L1" paddle button.
Press down on the right analog stick to snap the Web page to full-screen mode. Use the "R2" and "L2" buttons to zoom the Web page in or out. Press the "Triangle" button to display the browser's side menu.
