Music Files and Audio CDs

Photo and Image Features

• The PS3 system software includes "Photo Gallery," an application run from the home screen that allows users to browse, sort and view photos that are on the internal hard drive or a connected USB device. DVDs, Blu-ray, Streaming and Downloadable Movies

• The PS3 can play several video formats from connected external USB devices or from the internal hard drive. The PS3 can also play DVD and Blu-ray discs and supports Netflix streaming movies after installing the downloadable Netflix PS3 streaming application from the PlayStation Network. Additionally, movies, trailers and television shows are available for download from the PlayStation Store.

Internet Browser

• A PS3 that is connected to the Internet via wireless or wired networking can also function as a Web browser. By logging in to the PlayStation Network and launching the PlayStation 3 Internet Browser from the home screen, the user can connect to websites and view videos from streaming sites, such as YouTube. Adding the Sony Wireless Keyboard or any other Bluetooth or USB keyboard will make browsing easier.
