How to Connect My WD Passport to a PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 gaming console comes bundled with an internal hard drive. Users can download and store game patches, demos, movies and downloadable game content such as extra maps or levels. The PS3 also has USB ports and can read removable storage devices to transfer music and video files to the system, and external hard drives such as the Western Digital Passport can be connected to one of the PS3's USB ports using a USB cable.
