How to Use Magic in Demon's Souls

In 2009, Atlus released the online single-player role-playing video game "Demon's Souls" for the Sony PlayStation 3. Like most role-playing games, you can create a character that specializes in stealth, strength or magic. Magic users in "Demon's Souls" will need to learn how to use their talents to succeed in the eight worlds and survive the bosses at the end of each world. Fortunately, using magic is simple.

     Load your "Demon's Souls" magic user.

     Press "Up" on the directional pad to select a spell you have memorized. More are available for purchase within the Nexus.

   • 3

     Press "Start" and select either a Talisman or a Catalyst to equip it. These are found on random enemies after defeating them, and equipping one is required to cast spells.

   • 4

     Press "L1" to cast the spell selected.
