How to Use a PS3 With Bright House

The Sony PlayStation 3 is the first home of its line to offer stable online connectivity, enabling access to an online store and online cooperative and competitive gameplay. The only thing you will need prior to receiving access to these online features is your own Internet subscription to an Internet service provider, such as Bright House Networks, which primarily services central Florida. Using your PS3 and setting it up with Bright House Networks is the same as with any ISP.

     Select "Network Settings" within the "Settings" menu on your Sony PlayStation 3.

     Highlight "Internet Connection Settings" and press the "X" button on your controller. Select "Yes."

     Press "X" on "Easy." The PlayStation will automatically configure your connection if you are connected with an Ethernet cable. Select "Wireless" if you are using a wireless connection.

     Select "Scan," and then select your router. Type in the password when prompted.

     Press "X" to save your settings.
