How to Import an iPod's Music to the PS3

Sony's PlayStation 3, PS3, allows you to play video games, chat with friends, watch movies and videos and listen to music. If you already have music on your iPod, you can transfer the files onto your PS3 with the USB cable that you received when you purchased the iPod. A duplicate copy of the music file will be stored on your PS3.

Instructions

  Plug the USB connection end of the iPod cable into the USB slot on your PS3. Connect the iPod to the other end.

  Turn on your PS3, and wait for the dashboard to load.

  Press the right directional button on your PS3 controller to navigate to the "Music" tab on the PS3.

  Choose the "USB" option, and select "iPod" from the device option.

  Open the "Music" folder on the iPod screen, and press the triangle button on the PS3 controller. Select "Copy Duplicate." Press the "O" button on the controller, and wait for the files to be transferred onto your PS3.
