How to Turn on a Rocketfish PS3 Headset

The Rocketfish is a Bluetooth headset for the Sony PlayStation 3. The headset allows you to communicate with other gamers when playing multiplayer games on the PlayStation Network. Turning the Rocketfish on is as simple as pushing the "Power" button, but that is not enough to get the device working. You'll need to turn the headset on and then pair it if you want to use it with your PS3.

Instructions

  Plug the USB charging cable into the bottom edge of the Rocketfish headset. Plug the power outlet into a wall outlet and let the headset charge until the blinking light turns yellow/green. Unplug the USB charging cable.

  Turn on the PlayStation 3. Open the "Settings" menu from the main screen, and then select "Accessory Settings."

  Select "Register Bluetooth Device." Select "Manage Bluetooth Devices."

  Select "Yes," then select "Start Scanning." Push and hold the "Power" button on the headset for two seconds to turn the headset on.

  Enter "0000" as the on-screen passcode. The Rocketfish headset is now paired with the PS3.
