How to Connect a Jawbone to Your PS3

The PS3 console is used primarily for playing video games and watching movies. It also comes with Bluetooth ability. This allows you to connect Bluetooth devices, such as a Jawbone headset, wirelessly to the PS3. This can come in handy if you are playing a game that requires a headset. The good thing about this feature is that it can be enabled quickly.

Instructions

      Press the "Power" button on your Jawbone to turn the unit on. An LED indicator light flashes on the headset, signalling that it is in pairing mode.

      Turn on your PS3 and use the controllers to select "Settings" from the main menu screen.

      Select "Accessory Settings" from the list of options, and then select "Register Bluetooth Device."

      Select "Register Headset" from the list of options that appear on screen and then select "Start Scanning." The PS3 will then look for any Bluetooth headsets nearby and present them in a list on screen.

      Select the Jawbone from the list of options and then enter "0000" when prompted. This is the passcode. The Jawbone then paires with the PS3.
