How to Call for Help on Demon's Souls

"Demon's Souls" is a video game designed exclusively for the PlayStation 3. It is an action role playing game that requires players to kill demons and collect their souls. You can play the game online, through the PlayStation Network. When playing the game online, you still play your own private game, but you can sometimes see the other players as shades when they are nearby. You can also interact with them -- helping them or asking them for help with the use of eye stones earned throughout the game.

     Wander around in your physical form. You must be alive to request help.

     Look for a Blue Soul Sign. This is a message sign from another player using a Blue Eye Stone, while in soul form.

     Examine any Blue Soul Sign you find and view that player's statistics.

     Use the Blue Soul Sign to summon the player you like best. You may summon up to two players for assistance. Summoned players will appear as Blue Phantoms in their soul forms.
