How to Repair RL-3 on Fallout 3 on the PS3

"Fallout 3" is a role-playing game that lets you adventure alone or with up to two companions, including Sergeant RL-3. This is a robot built by the RobCo Facility that has made its way into Tinker Joe's shop. Because it is a robot and not a human, Sergeant RL-3 takes damage rather than loses health points. However, it is still capable of repairing itself using Stimpaks, just like human companions.

     Walk up to Sergeant RL-3. Press "X" to initiate conversation.

     Tell Sergeant RL-3 you would like to open his inventory. This will open the inventory screen.

   • 3

     Press "R2" and highlight "Stimpak." Press "X" and select an amount to transfer to Sergeant RL-3.

   • 4

     Move away from any enemies. When not in combat, Sergeant RL-3 will use as many Stimpaks as necessary to repair itself.
