How to Hook Up a PlayStation 3 Using an Ethernet Cable

When designing the PlayStation 3 (PS3), Sony incorporated high-speed Internet connection capabilities. This feature allows PS3 gamers to access an online pool of fellow gamers to compete against for a more expansive gaming experience. The PlayStation 3 works with wired as well as wireless connections. Connecting directly to a router eliminates potential issues you may encounter when using Wi-Fi. A wired connection will serve as the best solution for gamers who want to establish a stable, error-free Internet connection on their consoles.
