How to Set Up a Tree Stand on Cabela's Outdoor Adventures for PlayStation

Cabella's Outdoor Adventure on the PlayStation keeps the player moving, tracking and shooting trophy animals. A player hunts many different animals with the help of a computer guide to track down animals like whitetail deer, elk and pheasants. During certain hunts, the player needs to use a tree stand to complete the hunting level. While your guide helps you find a tree that is suitable for a tree stand, he does not tell you how to get the stand set up.

Instructions

  Find a tree that has fungus growing on the side of the tree. The guide in the game notifies you when you are close to a tree available to make a stand.

  Equip the tree stand by pressing the R1 button which accesses the backpack. If the tree stand is not in the backpack, select an item with the square button to remove it from the backpack. Scroll down until the tree stand is located.

  Stand the player close to the tree and select the tree stand from the backpack using the X button. The player will the be moved up into the tree stand.

  Get the player down by selecting the tree stand from the backpack and pressing the X button again.
