How to Reactivate Netflix for PS3

Netflix has a video streaming option that gives you access to thousands of movies and television shows, direct from a Netflix ready device. The Sony PlayStation 3 is such a device that doesn't require any streaming discs, but originally, PS3s required you to insert a Netflix code disc before being able to stream videos. Occasionally, when updating the PS3 the Netflix stamp placed on the PS3 is removed. In order to watch the Netflix streaming material you need to reactivate Netflix on the gaming device.

     Power on the Sony PlayStation 3.

     Open the Internet browser on your computer, then navigate to the Netflix.com website and log onto your account.

     Click "Your Account &Help" then scroll to the middle of the display page and click on "Activate a Netflix ready device." Netflix now displays a code you need to enter into the PS3.

     Select the Netflix application on the PS3 main screen, then type in the display code from your Internet browser. Press "Enter" and Netflix becomes active again on the Sony PlayStation 3.
