How to Put Pictures & Video on a PS3 Using a Flash Drive

The PlayStation 3 is more than just a video game system --- it is also a Blu-ray player and a storage device. You can store movies, music or pictures on the PlayStation 3 and access them from the main menu at any time. Using a flash drive is just one of many ways to transfer files to your PlayStation 3. Once the files are copied to your flash drive from your PC or other device, you must then transfer them to the PlayStation 3.

     Insert the flash drive into any available USB port on the front of the PlayStation 3.

     Navigate to the "Photo," "Music" or "Video" menu, depending on the files you wish to transfer.

     Select "USB Device (Storage Device)."

     Press the "Triangle" button.

     Select "Copy."

   • 6

     Press "Circle" to go back to the menu when copying has been completed. The photo, song or video will be copied to either the "Photo," "Music" or "Video" menu, respectively.
