How to Jump the Waterfall on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for PS3

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is an action adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by SCEA. It was released in November 2007 exclusively for the PlayStation 3 gaming console (See Reference 2). The game features firefights as well as acrobatics as the player navigates over cliffs, jumping from ledges and vines. At one point, the player will be faced with the task of making it over a series of waterfalls. It is possible to make the jump, but falling into the swift-moving water below results in death. This particular jump occurs in Chapter 4 of the game, called "Plane-wrecked" (See Reference 1).

Instructions

  Move to your left towards the waterfalls after the firefight. Find the grips on the wall. (See Reference 1)

  Jump again as soon as you have jumped over to the second segment. This segment will fall, and if you fail to jump you will be killed. (See Reference 1)

  Move to the right around the side. You will come upon another bridge-like structure. (See Reference 1)

  Follow the camera's direction downward. You will end up on a platform. This platform begins to slide as soon as you get on it. (See Reference 1)

  Wait for the cut-scene to end. Walk (do not jump) off the platform. You will land on another platform. From here, you can grab onto the handholds and after someone inside a truck begins to shoot at you, take the truck out by destroying the nearby powder keg. (See Reference 1)
