How to Play an MPEG Video on a PlayStation 3 Over a Network

The PlayStation 3 is a high-definition gaming device that also supports media sharing via the DLNA media server. The majority of MPEG encoded video formats are supported. To open a media connection, the PlayStation 3 must be connected to the same network (either wired or wirelessly) as the computer with the MPEG file you want to play. Using Windows Media Player 11 (or higher), you can establish the media server between the computer and the PlayStation 3.
