How to Back Up Your Saves on the PlayStation 3

The PlayStation 3 has the ability to save games, presets, achievements and online records on its internal hard drive for users to retrieve and resume play where they left off. Like with all computers, the risk of the hard drive failing can mean losing all the hard-earned records and achievements. To ensure that your game saved data is protected, back up your PlayStation 3 "game saves" onto a USB external storage drive.
