How to Connect an Ethernet Cable to a PlayStation 3

One of the best parts about console gaming is the ability to connect to others who are currently playing the same game. The PlayStation 3 supports wireless Internet connections along with connectivity using an Ethernet RJ-45 cable for faster transfer rates or to connect to networks that are not Wi-Fi-enabled. Connecting your PS3 to your Internet service allows you to receive updates from the PlayStation network for your system and games, download custom content and enhance your gaming experience with network play.
