How to Enable GTA IV Trophies

"Grand Theft Auto IV" is a crime adventure video game that was released by Rockstar in 2008. When the game was initially released on the PlayStation 3, there were no trophies, which are marks of accomplishment set in your PS3 profile. However, these were later included in the game by way of a PlayStation Network patch. To enable trophies in your game, you must allow the patch to install itself on your console.

     Turn on your PS3.

     Slide the "GTA IV" disc into the PS3's disc slot.

     Select "Grand Theft Auto IV" under the "Game" menu.

     Press "X" when your PlayStation 3 tells you it requires an update before you can play it.

     Wait for the update to download and install. Upon completion, it will enable trophies.
