  Dial 888-355-7530 to cancel your DirecTV service.

  Turn on your PS3 and press "X" to access the PlayStation Store.

  Select "Video," followed by "Search by Title." For Netflix, press "X" on the letter N and then on "Netflix." For Hulu Plus, press "X" on the letter H and then on "Hulu."

  Navigate to the Netflix website and fill out the form on the homepage. This will sign you up for a free one-month trial of Netflix. After the month passes, you will automatically be billed each month. As of March 2011, Netflix charges $7.99 a month. Enter your financial information on the next page.

  Navigate to the Hulu website. Click "Hulu Plus" and enter your email address on the next page. Click to start your free trial. After the free trial, Hulu will charge you per month. As of March 2011, the monthly fee is $7.99.

  Navigate to "Netflix," under "Video," on the PS3. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your Netflix account.
