How to Buy Things on PlayStation Home

PlayStation Home, available on the PS3 video game system, lets you dive into an online world where you can customize a home, buy apparel for your avatar and chat with other players. Buying items is a big part of PlayStation Home. The game itself is free, but Sony makes a profit when you purchase special items available in the Mall. Browse the shops to find the perfect items to suit your avatar.

Instructions

  Go to "PlayStation Home" from the "PlayStation Network" section of the XMB.

  Select "Shop."

  Choose "Mall." The mall loads.

  Walk your avatar, using the left thumb stick, to a store where you wish to buy items.

  Walk inside the store. A menu opens where you can choose items to purchase.

  Browse the item categories until you find something you wish to purchase.

  Push "X" to select the item and confirm the purchase.
