The Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) is Sony's third model in the PlayStation video game console cycle. This system debuted in late 2006 in Japan and North America and in 2007 in Europe. There is a lot of information on the PS3 from around that time until now, so whether you are obtaining information for a research paper or for your own interests, you will be able to find it.

  Obtain the PlayStation 3 user's manual. This manual will give you all sorts of information about the PlayStation 3.

  Find game magazines from late 2005 and early 2006. The PS3 launched near the end of 2006, so all of the game magazines would have been talking about it up to a year or more beforehand.

  Read recent books on video games. These books will list information on the PS3.
