How to Copy Pictures to My PS3

The Sony PlayStation 3 is equipped to open and play a variety of media formats. You can play video games, import audio tracks from CD, watch movies or copy pictures. Use one of the console's USB ports or insert a data CD to upload pictures to the PS3. Copying pictures to your PlayStation 3 will allow you to view the photos on the television connected to the system.

  Insert the USB drive or CD into the PS3. If you are using a USB drive, plug the storage device into an available USB port on the front panel of the console. Insert the CD into the console's disc drive.

  Use the PS3 controller to navigate to the "Photos" icon on the XMB of your home screen.

  Scroll down the "Photos" menu to your storage device icon. For example, if you are copying from a USB drive, scroll to the "USB Device" icon.

  Press the "X" button on your controller to display a list of the photos.

  Navigate to the picture you want to copy. Press the "Triangle" button, then select "Copy" from the options menu that appears. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish copying the picture.
