Instructions
Connect the USB cable to one of the USB ports on the front of the PlayStation 3. Connect the other end of the cable to an open USB port on your computer. Connect the broadband Internet card to another open USB port on your computer and power both the computer and the PS3 on.
Wait for the operating system to power on and establish an Internet connection with your broadband card as you normally would. When the device is connected to the Internet, click on the "Network Places" icon on your desktop, followed by the "Properties" option.
Click the "Advanced" tab in the top-right corner of the menu screen. Check the box next to "Allow Other Network Users to Connect Through this Computer's Internet Connection" and then click the "Apply" button, followed by the "OK" button. You can now close the window.
Pick up the controller for your PS3 and use it to navigate to the "Settings" menu option. Scroll down to the "Network Setting" option and press the "X" button. Navigate to the "Internet Connection Settings" option and press "X" to select it. Choose "Yes" on the next screen followed by "Easy." The system will automatically detect the network connection from your computer. Press "X" on the next screen to save your settings.
