How to Get Netflix Streaming Disc

For the Sony "PS3" game console, you will need a "Netflix" streaming disc in order to stream "Netflix" movies through your "PS3". The Nintendo "Wii" console, on the other hand, offers an option you can download from the "Wii" shop, negating the need for a "Netflix" streaming disc. "Xbox" has built-in streaming capabilities, also negating the need for a "Netflix streaming disc. Once you get the disc for your "PS3", insert it into your "PS3" console, go to the "video" section, select "XMB" and then "Netflix". Follow the on-screen instructions to stream "Netflix" movies.

  To receive a "Netflix" streaming disc for your "PS3" console, go to "Netflix.com" and register for an account, if you don't already have one. Accomplish this by filling in the information requested on the one-month free trial form and clicking on "Continue".

  Complete the rest of the form and submit your registration by clicking on "Submit". Check your email and click on the link provided to verify your registration.

  Sign into your "Netflix" account and go the "Instant Play" area of the website. Type "PS3 streaming disc" into the search box and click "Search." Select the disc as you would any other disk and add it to your cart, then check-out. "Netflix" will send the disk to you and you get to keep it. You never have to return the disk and it does not count against the allotment of disks you can rent at any one time, or on a monthly basis.
