How to Make Wireless Stronger for My PS3

The PS3 is a gaming console that comes equipped with a built in blue-ray player. The device also allows you to play multiplayer games with your friends, family or other gamers from around the world by utilizing the Internet. If your PS3 does not have a suitable connection to the Web, you will not be able to play the game online. There are a couple of ways that you can make the wireless signal on your PS3 stronger.

  Move your wireless router to an area near your PS3 console. Make sure the router is not covered up by anything or that there is nothing blocking it. Both the PS3 and the router should be in a clear sight of each other to get the best signal.

  Stand your PS3 console up so the antenna on the device is located upwards. The antenna is on the right-hand side, so you will want that side facing the router at all costs. This may improve the signal strength on your console dramatically.

  Purchase a PS3 antenna booster and connect the device into the USB port on your console. This should provide an immediate boost in your PS3 signal.

  Cut the top off a cola can. Cut a vertical line down the middle of the can. Fan the can out. It should resemble a flower. Wash and dry the can to remove any residue. Cut a hole the size of the antenna on your wireless router and insert the antenna inside the hole. Point this toward your PS3 to increase the signal. Note: A piece of aluminum foil can be used instead of a cola can.
