How to Get an Arcade Machine in PS3 Home

Getting Started

  Sign in to your PlayStation Network account, and access the PlayStation store by hovering over the PlayStation Network icon on the dashboard.

  Download and install the Namco Museum Essentials trial version from the PlayStation Store. Downloading this demo gives you access to the games you must play to obtain the arcade machines for your PS3 Home personal space.

  Return to the PlayStation 3 dashboard and launch the Namco Museum Essentials game.

Unlock Arcade Machines

  Choose to play one of the four available games on Namco Museum Essentials: Galaga, Pac-Man, Dig-Dug or Xevious. Each game has a specific sequence you must follow to unlock an arcade machine.

  Play Galaga until you finish the game's second stage, and then the arcade machine is automatically unlocked.

  Unlock the Pac-Man arcade game by getting all four ghosts to follow you while maintaining a clear path to a power pellet that will turn the ghosts blue, thus making them vulnerable. Quickly eat all four ghosts to unlock the machine.

  Play Dig-Dug until you get into a position where you can kill two monsters with one rock. The Dig-Dug machine will then unlock.

  Find the special flag in Xevious as you pass over the second river. Destroy the flag with your bombs to unlock the machine.

Move Games to Personal Space

  Launch PS3 Home and enter your personal space by selecting one of your apartments from the personal space tab on the main menu.

  Edit your space by clicking "Start" and then "Redecorate." You will see the items available to place in your personal space.

  View the machines you previously unlocked, and place them where you want by using the left anolog stick to move them and the "X" button to place them.
