Adding PS3 Games Onto a Hard Drive

The PlayStation 3 includes a built-in hard drive that stores music, videos and games. PlayStation games and demos are distributed through the PlayStation Store, an online marketplace that provides downloadable content. Browse the store for your favorite games, including classic games for the original PlayStation, and download them directly to the hard drive and never worry again about losing or scratching the disc. The PlayStation store is accessible from any PS3 that has Internet access.
