How to Download Maps for Call of Duty: Game of the Year Edition

"Call of Duty" is an extremely popular lineup of first-person shooters available for the Sony PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Several of the gaming titles have won Game of the Year awards, and because of this the "Call of Duty" franchise has several "Game of the Year" editions. To completely take advantage of the multiplayer options presented in the "Game of the Year" title, you need to download and upload additional maps to your gaming system.

Instructions

      Power on the video game system you are using (PS3 or Xbox 360).

      Select the "Online Store" feature for the system.

      Type in your log-in information to load the store.

      Choose the "Downloads" options to load a list of all the games with available downloads for your system.

      Select "Call of Duty" to display the maps download.

    • 6

      Select the maps option, and choose "Download" to download directly to your gaming system.

    • 7

      Exit out of the online store, and the maps will automatically install once the download finishes.
